The Tygerberg Multicare Centre was established by Dr Liezl Voshol-Botha who enjoys working with people of all ages, from children through to the elderly. Her practice provides quality and personal medical care to both individuals and families, with the focus being on treating not only the symptoms, but also the root causes of illnesses.
After completing her studies at the University of Johannesburg and qualifying as a homeopathic practitioner in 2005, Dr Voshol-Botha spent 5 years working with the well respected Dr Alby Ford in Pretoria, where she gained invaluable experience.
In keeping with her commitment to integrated medicine and using leading-edge treatments and technology, she has completed additional courses in:
- chelation therapy (clinical metal toxicology), qualifying as a chelation therapist in 2004,
- biopuncture, completing the programme in 2005,
- clinical thermography, completing the programme in 2008 in the USA.
Dr Voshol-Botha moved to Cape Town in 2009 to open her own private practice where she specialises in thermography (infrared imaging) for the early detection of signs of breast cancer.
Dr Voshol-Botha is currently studying iridology at the South African Institute of Iridology and is gaining practical experience in this field with Dr Mike Cary.
